1d. What impact will this have on the world’s economy?

Just because the basic necessities of life are provided for an individual does not mean that person will not desire a television, video games, cars, trendy fashions, go to movies, sporting events, travel, etc. To do these things, the person will need to work in the economy that provides these things.

Imagine how much more "fun cash" people would have to spend if they didn't have to first pay for rent/mortgage, health insurance, food, etc.  Each household would have literally thousands of dollars a month more to spend in our capitalistic economies.

Having one's basic needs taken care of, however, will allow employees to use his or her skills because he or she WANTS to use them and improve them to improve his or her personal happiness, not because one is FORCED to use them to survive.

Most humans hate their jobs. This hatred of their work causes stress and anxiety, and a general lack of appreciation of others. Nothing is worse than being forced into a highway gridlock where one joins thousands of others who are wasting personal hours driving to a job they hate, in order to survive. When human beings are relieved of this stress, they will begin to work for their happiness, not because they are forced.

We will have much, much better workers/employees performing their jobs with a smile if the WUF is in place.
