Yes.
Other countries do have, even better welfare systems in place. However,
these countries DO HAVE HIGHER TAXES, which the people are willing to
put up with because THEIR CRIME RATES, DISEASE, AND OTHER "WOES" ARE FAR
LESS THAN THE GOOD 'OL USA!
